![]() Apr. 13th, 2025: Passover Special – Ashkenazi Pijuttimm
“And the Ox came, and drank the Waters.” (Chadd Gadja)
I’m writing this post after my family’s Seder. It was fun. Let me attend, today, to mysteries of the Jewish Pascha. ... I still have the aftertaste of the Apikomen (a substitution of Paschal sacrifice). The truth of this Jewish practice, which is known to all Real Christian Cabalists, is that the Apikomen is, in fact, Jesus – that אפיקומן (Apikomen), has the same count as ממזר (Mamser), i.e. “Bastard”, a name attributed to Jesus by the rabbins. So the rabbins eat the Paschal sacrifice which is Jesus. ... Now, I want to attend to a Paschal pijutt, from the Ashkenazi rite – Chadd Gadja (“The Goat-kid”). This pijutt tells of a Goat-kid, bought by the narrator’s dad. That Kid gets eaten by a Cat (or a Leopard), which is then bitten by a Dog, that’s then beaten with a Rod, which is, in turn, burned by a Fire, that is, then, calmed by Waters, which are then drunk by an Ox, that is butchered by a Butcher, who is killed by the Angel of Death, who is then destroyed by God, the Lord. This pijutt obviously talks of the Paschal Sacrifice; although, explained in a “chain” of sacrifices; all of which do, (in my opinion), allude to Jesus. A particular aspect of the pijutt that caught my attention is the Ox, which is “high-up” in the sacrificial hierarchy here. The Ox typifies Edom – being on the Northern Side of the Chariot (Ezk. 1:10), & associated with the Babylonian Gold (as the Golden Calf). (The Gold of the Babylonian “head”, is called “Good” [Dan. 2:32]). In my understanding, the Ox drinking the Waters typifies the Triumph of Christ, over the “Proud-Waters” (Ps. 124:5) of the Abyss. Christ is viewed as a Fish, (Ichthys), sunk in the Sea. In this understanding, the “rising-up” of Christ from the depths is reflected in the Ox’s overcoming of the Waters. |
